The combination of Lisinopril and drugs used to treat diabetes can cause a severe drop in blood sugar.

Make sure your doctor knows if you’re pregnant, actively trying to become pregnant of if you breastfeed. During pregnancy you’ll be unable to take this drug because it can harm the fetus. It’s not known if this drug is able to pass through the breast milk, so women who breastfeed should stop taking this medication or bottle feed instead. Research has shown that Lisinopril is safe to take in patients six years of age and older.
